FIRSTS

We have had many firsts over the past week and half since Olivia was born! She had her first bath, which she actually really enjoyed! Mommy and Olivia had their first outing together to the DR. (for me)and to visit great uncle Dave at his office since it was close. She also had her first walk with mom and dad! We thought that would keep her awake for a bit, but no, she slept the whole time and loved it! And today we went to the grocery store alone for the first time! I was nervous about this and it is much more work by myself, but she slept through it and I moved quickly!

Each day is getting a bit easier and we are getting more comfortable with her. It is still hard to believe that she is no longer in my stomach! She changes everyday and we just stare at her in amazement when she makes little noises and makes funny faces!

Many of you have asked about Boston and how he is handling baby Olivia, and I have to say that he is doing great. He is curious, protective and always wants to be really close to her. She is currently sleeping in her pack-n-play at the end of the bed and he sleeps at the end of the bed so he can watch her! Every time we go into her room, he follows and if she cries he just sits there and wags his tale until she stops! He is doing great!
